Face-to-Face - Face to Face contact time of at least 31 Hours
Entry Requirements
Holding the pre-requisite unit PUAFIR207 Operate breathing apparatus open circuit
Physical capability to be able to meet the demands of the practical demonstration skills to respond to incidents involving hazardous materials
Assessment Requirements
Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.

This certificate does not require renewal

Assessment Activities
Practical Performance Tasks and Scenarios:
Chemical spill near waterway and complete an incident report form
Explosive material near waterway and complete an incident report form
Documentation – The student must complete the following documentation:
Hazardous materials incident plan review form
Theory assessment - A written assessment consisting of short-answer and multiple-choice questions.
